Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Autonomous Machines ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Zerx application and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, used for account login.
• Usage metadata — token counts, model identifiers, and timestamps, used for billing and metering.
• Error logs — technical logs used to diagnose and fix problems.
• The discussion board — if you post, the name you type, what you write, and when you wrote it. See The discussion board below.

What we do not collect

Your workspace files are processed locally on your machine and are not uploaded to us. Cloud inference sends only the prompt and tokens needed to the model provider.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate the Service, process billing, provide support, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

The discussion board

Posting on the board is public, and it collects less than an account does. We do not ask for your email address and there is no sign-in.

• What is stored — the name you type, the text of your post, and its time. These are public: anyone can read them.
• A random identifier, in your browser — when you first post we give your browser a random number and keep it in your browser's local storage. It is how the board recognises you as the same person next time, since there is no account. It is not a name and it is never shown to anyone. Clearing your browser's data deletes it, and your next post is treated as coming from someone new.
• A hashed IP address — we store a one-way hash, not the address itself, and only to recognise repeat posting when limiting abuse. It cannot be turned back into your address.

If we remove a post, we keep it privately rather than deleting it — so we can answer questions about a decision, and undo one if it was wrong. Removed posts are not shown to anyone.

Data retention

We retain account and billing records for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Board posts are kept while they are displayed, and removed posts are kept privately as described above.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the Zerx app. The same applies to a post you made on the board — ask us and we will take it down. Because the board has no accounts we may not be able to confirm that a post is yours, so we may ask you to identify it.
